A Very Special Time...

Weddings are a very special time for you and your guests. GM Productions wants to help create wonderful memories for you on your special day.  We can help plan your reception so everything goes as smoothly as possible. You can use our free on-line planning guide or, at your request, we can meet with you. We will even meet with your photographer if needed. All of these features are free of charge. We want to help make your special day "perfect" for you!

The Cost Of Our Services

We charge $75 dollars per hour with no setup or tear down fees. There is a $75 dollar mileage fee for events 50 miles or more from Mt Carroll, Illinois. This covers the rising cost of fuel. Any event over 75 miles will be charged a rate of $125 an hour.

Sound Equipment That We Normally Use

-- Behringer XENYX1832FX mixing console

--  Behringer feedback destroyer

--  Behringer 9024 multi-band compressor limiter

--  Electronic cross-over

--  Shure U4S wireless microphone

-- Up to 5 corded microphones

--  1 pair of Peavey SP2 speakers on stands

-- 1 Cerwin Vega 18" Subwoofer (depending on size of the facility)

-- 2 QSC RMX1450 audio amplifiers

--  Laptop computer  (music is in digital format and stored on a computer hard drive)

Lighting Equipment That We Normally Use

-- Custom built lighting controller

--  Electronic chase controller (flood lights)

-- 2 or more special effects lights (depending on the size of the facility)

-- Fog machine - Available at your request - No added cost

-- Bubble machine - Available at your request - No added cost

Other Things to Keep In Mind...

-- What you see above is a normal setup. We have played at venues so small that there was no room for lighting or our subwoofer. When booking your venue, this is something to keep in mind. Of course you always have the choice to leave out the sub and/or lights should you decide you don't want them. Just let us know.

-- All music requests for special dances need to be submitted to us 7 days prior to the event.
This gives us time to locate requested special dance songs for you.

-- We ask that all wedding party names be submitted to us 7 days prior to the event unless you are providing someone to announce the grand entrance.

-- GM Productions offers a free on-line event planning guide for you to use. From within the planning guide, you can enter wedding party names, request music, enter special dance songs, and even create a "Do Not Play List" for the songs you do NOT want us to play.

 

-- We also bring a complete backup system in case something should go wrong. To date, we have never needed to replace any piece of equipment due to failure during an event.
